A well-appointed three-bedroom holiday home situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Cumbrian town of Kendal
Convenient for the Lake District (Windermere just a short drive away), Morecambe and Blackpool, the Yorkshire Dales, the Howgill Fells and the deserted beaches of Duddon Sands.
GORWEN is a 3-bedroom semi-detached house built in 2002. The property consists of living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The property has gas central heating throughout. There is a garage and off-road parking. GORWEN is located on the northern outskirts of Kendal and the town centre, including railway and bus stations, can be reached on foot by way of a pleasant 20-25 minute riverside walk (click here for an illustrated description and more pictures of GORWEN).
Books, videos and indoor and outdoor family games are available together with maps, fellwalking guides and an extensive collection of brochures and leaflets of local attractions and places of interest.
Lounge: Sofa-bed (sleeps 2 as an alternative to an upstairs bedroom), armchairs, 21" remote control colour TV with SKY digital satellite, video player, stereo CD/tape player, occasional tables.
Dining Room: Dining table and 6 chairs. Patio doors leading to patio & garden with patio table and 4 chairs.
Kitchen: Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer/drier, kettle, fridge with small freezer compartment. All necessary crockery, utensils, glassware, cutlery etc. provided.
Bedroom 1: 2 single beds & 2 duvets (plus 2 pull-out guest beds for flexibility of accommodation). Settee. Wardrobe with three drawers.
Bedroom 2: 1 double bed with king size duvet. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Colour TV with remote control, video player.
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds (2.5ft) with duvets, chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath with shower, washbasin, toilet.

BOOKING and PRICES
Short breaks, long weekends and holidays starting Sundays or mid-week are all catered for on a 'first come-first served' basis although during the peak summer season preference is given to guests booking holidays commencing on Saturdays.
We strive to keep prices as low as possible - particularly during the peak holiday season when everyone seems to try to cash in on families restricted by school holidays.
Electricity and gas are included. Linen not supplied. No smoking or pets.

A £50.00 deposit will secure your booking with the balance due one month in advance of the start of your stay.
Bookings made less than a month in advance must be paid for in full at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge an additional refundable £50.00 "good housekeeping deposit".
